3/4″ Pyrex, Twin Tungsten, SEN Style Gauge
Our Bayard Alpert, G75PT-02S ionization gauge is a 3/4" glass tubulation, twin tungsten filament gauge that is functionally equivalent to the Sumitomo Eaton Nova gauge, 33S0298. The twin tungsten filaments operate at a very high temperature and are relatively insensitive to contamination found in implanter or sputtering systems. The tungsten filaments are, however, susceptible to failure by oxidation due to poor vacuum or sudden pressurization.
