Our QI8008NP Quality Crystals are .550", 6MHz crystals coated with our Stress Relieving Alloy and a No Pattern coating. Our No Pattern crystals are coated to the edge on both sides and allow you to face either side toward the deposition source and allow the finger springs to make the best electrical contact with your crystal. Our Stress Relieving Alloy is the best electrode choice for high stress material depositions including silicon monoxide, silicon dioxide, magnesium fluoride, or titanium oxide. Deposited high stress materials can cause erratic crystal performance produced by high tensile stresses. Our Stress Relieving Alloy dissipates the stresses and results in a longer period of steady, jump-free oscillation.
