3/4″ Kovar, Twin Tungsten Filaments, KF25 Flange
Our Bayard Alpert, G75KTKF25 ionization gauge is a 3/4" Kovar arm, twin tungsten filament gauge with KF25 flange. The twin tungsten filaments operate at a very high temperature and are relatively insensitive to contamination found in implanter or sputtering systems. The tungsten filaments are, however, susceptible to failure by oxidation due to poor vacuum or sudden pressurization.
