3/4″ Kovar, Twin Tungsten Filaments, 2 3/4″ Flange
Our Bayard Alpert, G75KTF ionization gauge is a 3/4" Kovar tubulation, twin tungsten filament gauge with 2 3/4" flange. The twin tungsten filaments operate at a very high temperature and are relatively insensitive to contamination found in implanter or sputtering systems. The tungsten filaments are, however, susceptible to failure by oxidation due to poor vacuum or sudden pressurization.
